Internal department of Strahov

In case of a planned reception, please arrive at the outpatient clinic of the Internal Department of Strahov at the agreed time. Upon admission to the ward, you will be allocated a bed and you will be informed who your attending physician is. The doctor and nurse will acquaint you with the procedure of examination and treatment.

Take with you:

• recommendations for admission and the results of your examinations,
• identity card,
• documents for your health insurance,
• currently used drugs,
• pajamas / nightgown, bathrobe,
• hygiene supplies (towel, toothbrush),
• home shoes (comfortable, without heels, non-slip),
• at your discretion mobile phone + charger, laptop (possibility of wireless connection)
• metal coins if you use a vending machine.

Rules for visits

• Visiting hours are daily until 20:00.
• Please consult your doctor or nurse at another time for the visit.
• We ask visitors to respect the health and condition of hospitalized patients and to adjust their behavior and the length of the visit accordingly.
• Children under the age of 10 are only allowed to enter the inpatient departments after prior discussion and with the consent of the attending physician.

Diet

The nutritionist compiles the composition of the menu and, if necessary, also a special diet according to the instructions of your attending physician. Diet is an important factor in the treatment of your disease, so we recommend that you follow it.
