Both the planned and unplanned internal audits take place in the General Teaching Hospital, which, in addition to checking compliance with management documentation, also reflects the legislative requirements. It is an important tool for gaining feedback and sharing experiences.
Monitoring and evaluation of adverse events
An adverse event (NU) is an unforeseen and adverse event occurring within the operation of a health service provider, with a potentially significant or significant impact on the health and life or property of the patient, employee or provider. The General Teaching Hospital has a functional system of adverse events - all reported NUs are analyzed and dealt with, where relevant corrective measures are taken to minimize the risk of recurrence.
Monitoring of patient satisfaction
The management of the General Teaching Hospital in Prague strives to continually improve the quality of health services provided. In improving their quality, we want to follow the opinions and experience of our patients and clients. Since 2007, the General Teaching Hospital has regularly participated in the HCI - Czech Republic Satisfaction Survey, which aims to systematically monitor the quality of services provided.

Jumper of the Year - VFN managed to select the largest number of completed questionnaires that were sent for evaluation.

Resort security goals
Based on the recommendations of the Council of the European Union and the WHO, the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic has announced Departmental safety targets, which in the form of recommended procedures lead to a reduction of the risk of harm to patients. These recommendations are binding on the General Teaching Hospital in Prague as a directly managed organization of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.
Accreditation and certification
The General University Hospital in Prague continues to improve the quality of health services provided, both in the form of individual accreditation or certification of individual workplaces according to ISO 9001, ISO 15189 or ISO 17025, and national accreditation according to Decree No. 102/2012 Coll. an assessment of the quality and safety of in-patient health care, which covers most areas of health care with a particular emphasis on safety and efficiency. VFN provides specialized and superspecialized care in several fields including a wide range of laboratory diagnostics.
