Drug consultations for doctors

Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacy provides consulting services in the VFN related to pharmacotherapy.

We provide as part of outpatient services consulting services for physicians (Mon - Fri, 8:00 - 16:00).

We provide consultations regarding potential drug problems, eg in the following situations:

• polymorbid patients with multiple systemic drugs,
• drugs with a narrow therapeutic window (high risk of overdose),
• drugs with high interaction potential,
• patients with impaired elimination functions,
• suspected adverse drug reactions,
• interpretation of plasma drug concentrations.
