How to internship at the General Teaching Hospital in Prague?

The following guidelines apply to the following trainees:

  • physicians employed in medical facilities in the Czech Republic
  • doctors authorized to practice independently in the Czech Republic
  • non-medical health workers employed in a healthcare facility in the Czech Republic or authorized to pursue a medical profession in the Czech Republic
  • students of secondary schools and universities that are accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic for medical and related fields (psychology, laboratory methods,…)

Doctors

  1. U primáře workplace of General Teaching Hospital in Prague arrange an internship date.
  2. Please send it to at least four weeks prior to the placement staze@vfn.cz consent of the General Teaching Hospital in Prague (e-mail communication) together with the completed form questionnaire.
  3. Applications without documented consent of the General Teaching Hospital in Prague will not be considered.
  4. If you are a self-payer, please also include a scan of your medical diploma and proof of professional liability insurance.
  5. Wait for the elaborated text of the contract, which you will receive from the General Teaching Department to your e-mail address in the questionnaire.
  6. The traineeship contract must be signed by all contracting parties before the traineeship begins, otherwise the GPU will not allow traineeship!

NONÉÉKAŘI

  1. With nurse / lab technician workplace of General Teaching Hospital in Prague arrange an internship date.
  2. Please send it to at least four weeks prior to the placement staze@vfn.cz consent of the General Teaching Hospital in Prague (e-mail communication) together with the completed form questionnaire.
  3. Applications without documented consent of the General Teaching Hospital in Prague will not be considered.
  4. If you are a self-payer, please also attach a scan of professional qualifications for the non-medical profession and proof of professional liability insurance.
  5. Wait for the elaborated text of the contract, which you will receive from the General Teaching Department to your e-mail address in the questionnaire.
  6. The traineeship contract must be signed by all contracting parties before the traineeship begins, otherwise the GPU will not allow traineeship!

STUDENTS

  1. At the Secretariat workplace of General Teaching Hospital in Prague arrange an internship date.
  2. Please forward to the address at least four weeks before starting work staze@vfn.cz consent of the General Teaching Hospital in Prague (e-mail communication) together with the completed form questionnaire.
  3. Applications without documented consent of the General Teaching Hospital in Prague will not be considered.
  4. Wait for the elaborated text of the contract, which you will receive from the General Teaching Department to your e-mail address in the questionnaire.
  5. The practice contract must be signed by all contracting parties before the practice begins, otherwise the GPU will not allow it!

CLINICAL LOGOPEDIA - two weeks withSpecialized internship for expertise 903

  1. Make an appointment with PaedDr. Eva Škodová (eva.skodova@vfn.cz).
  2. Please send it to at least four weeks prior to the start of the traineeship staze@vfn.cz consent of the guarantor (e-mail communication) together with the completed form questionnaire.
  3. Applications will be disregarded without documented consent of the workplace.
  4. If you are a self-payer, please also include a scan of your professional qualification in Clinical Speech Therapy and proof of professional liability insurance.
  5. Wait for the written text of the contract, which you will receive from the Department of Education of the General Teaching Hospital to your e-mail address in the questionnaire
  6. The traineeship contract must be signed by all contracting parties before the traineeship begins, otherwise the GPU will not allow traineeship!

Internships for foreign applicants - Internship in the Prague General University Hospital

PHYSICIANS

  1. If you are interested in internship at a clinic of one's choice, the applicant is to contact the relevant head physician to discuss details, including dates and the trainer, at least 5 weeks in advance, needed for the administration of internship at the General University Hospital ( GUH).
  2. The applicant is required to fill out Questionnaire Completely and accurately, and send it to internship@vfn.cz.
  3. Based on the questionnaire, the contract will be prepared and sent to the internship applicant to his / her e-mail address; The applicant is required to print it twice, sign it and send it to the following address of the GUH Department of Education: Department of Education, U Nemocnice 499/2, 128 08 Prague 2, Czech Republic.
  4. Physicians who will come into contact with patients will also need to have a document confirming their professional liability insurance, and a copy of which is attached to the contract.
  5. A copy of the contract will be returned to the applicant.

Price list:
The price of the internship is between 30 - 60 € / day and depends on the individual filling of the internship.

Accommodation:
If accommodation is needed, there is a possibility to be Bed and breakfast in hospital.
