During his stay at the General Hospital, a minor patient has the right to the continuous presence of a parent, or a person designated by a legal guardian, foster parent or other person to whose care the patient has been entrusted by a court or other authority.
A minor patient may require that a person who abuses or otherwise abuses or neglects him or her be absent from the provision of health services.
The minor is obliged to follow the proposed individual treatment procedure, the legal representative is obliged to cooperate, the minor and the legal representative present are obliged to follow the internal rules of a particular medical institution and not consume alcohol or other addictive substances during hospitalization and undergo examination to demonstrate whether or not he is under the influence of alcohol or other addictive substances.
At the end of the hospitalization, the legal representative will be informed in time about the release of the minor from inpatient care.
In the case of minor patients with serious social problems in the family, the General Hospital must inform the municipal authority of the municipality with extended powers competent according to the address of the patient's place of permanent residence about the termination of hospitalization, and informs the City of Prague if the patient has a permanent residence in Prague.
Upon discharge, the patient will be equipped with medicinal products and medical devices for 3 days or, in justified cases, for the necessary time, and will receive a discharge report, which will also be sent to the registrar in the field of general practice for children and adolescents (if VFN is known ). In the event that the General Hospital provided health services not covered or partially covered by public health insurance or other sources, which were provided to the minor with consent, the legal representative is obliged to pay the price of the provided health services.
