Clinic of Nephrology

In the nephrology outpatient clinic at the Faculty Polyclinic, we examine and monitor patients with kidney diseases and other related conditions. Recommendations from a general practitioner or other specialist should be provided for the examination.

The Rheumatology Outpatient Clinic operates within the Nephrology Outpatient Clinic. Examination and monitoring of patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system of non-traumatic origin.

The admission clinic is used for the administration of infusion therapy (immunusuppression, biological treatment), for the control of patients discharged from hospitalization and for the performance of counseling in hospitalized patients. Nephrological and internal examinations are also performed here on outpatients in case of danger of delay.

The ambulance operates within Nephrological clinics at the Faculty Polyclinic (entrance B, 4th floor) a Reception clinics (Department of Nephrology, U nemocnice 2, entrance A10, 3rd floor, in the premises of ward E). Monitoring of patients with internal diseases and consolidation of therapeutic procedures, comprehensive preoperative examination, introduction of central venous catheters, elective cardioversion in heart rhythm disorders.

Care of patients preparing for peritoneal dialysis therapy and patients already treated with this method.

Care for patients with concomitant kidney and circulatory diseases.
